The Media Day of Visakaha Vidyalaya was held in a grand scale at the Jeremias Dias hall on 21st October 2022.The event themed “Yathra” was an exploration of the folk art culture in Sri Lanka.The folk song related cultural items presented by the students brought glamour to the event. Renowned artists Mr Rohana Baddege and Mrs Pradeepa Dharmadasa graced the occasion as Chief Guests. The event also marked the ceremonial launch of ‘Deepayana’ the first newspaper registered in Sri Lanka by a school media unit.
