The foundation stone laying ceremony for the ‘Geethanjali Amarasuriya Anusmarana Siyawas Pusthakalaya’ was held on 26th August 2016 at Visakha premises. The principal of Visakha Vidyalaya - Ms. Sandamali Aviruppola laid the foundation stone while reverend Buddhist clergies chanted pirith.
The proposed library would be a four storey building with a fully equipped conference room. The library is scheduled to be completed in September 2017.
