The annual children’s day celebration was held on the 30th of January, 2016 at the Jeremias Dias hall with the participation of hostellers of Visakha Vidyalaya. The event was a much waited event for the hostellers to enjoy a nice time amidst the usual school work. This is an event organized by the social activities subcommittee of the Visakha Vidyalaya Old Girls Association to commemorate the universal children's day.
The Chief Guest of the event was madam principal Mrs. Sandamali Aviruppola. The guest speaker was Mrs. Arundathi Abeypala, Psychologist at the ICRC at present.
She is a resource person on Counselling, Positive Thinking, Communication Skills, Emotional Intelligence and it was a great time for the children to listen to a valuable speech to groom their lives.
