Being a leading Buddhist girls’ school in the island Visakha Vidyalaya organized an alms giving for hundred bhikkunis in celebrating its centenary year.
The alms giving was held on 21st January where hundred bhikkunis arrived at the school from all over the country to be a part of this historical event.
Past and present principals, deputy principals, teachers and students attended this event which was organized by the Old Girls’ Association of Visakha Vidyalaya. Being the first ever event of its nature; it finished off around 1.00 pm. The bhikkunis evoked blessings for a long, glorious and rewarding journey for Visakha Vidyalaya.
