Visakha Vidyalaya Old Girls’ Association celebrated the 80th Birthday of Former Principal, Mrs. M.N. Edussuriya. A Bodhi Pooja to bless her was held at Visakha Bo Maluwa on 4th of November, followed by evening tea. Past Teachers during Mrs. Edussuriys's time at Visakha Vidyalaya and the Executive Committee of the VVOGA - 2019/2020 gathered for the celebrations.
Mrs. Edussuriya served as the Principal of Visakha Vidyalaya from January 1988 to October 1999. Her Vision for Visakha Vidyalaya & her dedicated service helped Visakha Vidyalaya produce good allrounders who excelled in studies as well as extra curricular & co curricular activities while maintaining good values.
