A Bodhi Pooja to commemorate the 106th Anniversary of Visakha Vidyalaya was held on 16th January 2023 at the school Bo Maluwa. This annual event was organized by the Religious Subcommittee of the Visakha Vidyalaya Old Girls’ Association (VVOGA) to invoke blessings of the noble triple gem on the school, its students & the staff and was conducted this year by the Ven. Pitipana Sasanarathana Thero.
The Principal of Visakha Vidyalaya and the President of the VVOGA, Mrs Manomi Seneverathne, Past Principals, Past Teachers, Executive Committee Members of the VVOGA and old girls were among the participants of this event.
