Ehsha Michela Pallie of Visakha Vidyalaya wooed the world grabbing the gold in Blitz (fast chess) at the World Schools Chess Championship 2016 in the ‘Under 9’ age category, which was held in Sochi, Russia. In the same championship; Niklesha Tharushi of Visakha Vidyalaya won the third place in the ‘Under 13’ age group.
Ehsha has shown a promising future when she bagged three medals including a gold at the Asian Schools Chess Championship 2016 in the ‘Under 9’ age group, which was concluded in Iran in April emerging as the Asian Schools Champion.
