The Primary Section of Visakha Vidyalaya hosted their annual concert ‘Singithi Rangum’ on March 10th and 11th, 2023, at Jeramias Dias Hall. The concert served as a platform for the young Visakhians to showcase their talent in dancing, singing and drama performances, which were received with awe by the audience, thanks partly to their dazzling costumes.
The event was graced by Madam Principal as the chief guest, and renowned musician Jagath Wickramasinghe, Director of Aesthetic Branch Ministry of Education, along with professional dancers and choreographers, Mr. Nishad HadunPathirana, Mr. Ravibandhu Vidyapathi, Mr. Chandana Wickramasinghe and Ms. Oshadhi Hewamadduma as special guests.
The success of this event and its continuation in the school calendar are attributed to the hard work, generous contributions and guidance of Madam Principal Ms. Manomi Senivirathne, Deputy and Assistant Principals, teachers of the Primary and Aesthetic and Media Sections, well-wishers, parents, Old Girls’ Association, and of course, the young Visakhians.
