Visakha Vidyalaya was rewarded as the National Aquatic Champions 2018, defeating the reining champions Mahamaya Girls College Kandy, at the Sugathadasa Stadium. Whilst they were able to upgrade from runners up at the last years event, the Visakha Relay team set a new record for the 200 metere medley bettering their own record set last year.
