Visakha Vidyalaya Colours Night 2018 was held on 5th of July 2019 at the Jeremias Dias Hall. Mr. M.R. Latiff, Senior Deputy Inspector General Of Police Crimes, Organized Crimes, Narcotics & Commandant – Special Task Force graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while Mr. Rangana Herath, Sri Lanka Test Cricket Captain – 2016/17 attended the event as the Guest of Honour. Young sportswomen Lakithma Dulvanya Jayatissa and Lithara Dilhansa Perera were jointly awarded the title of ‘Most Talented Sports Personality’, while the Badminton Champion Hasini Nusaka Ambalangodage was recognized and appreciated for making her alma mater and motherland proud with her achievements on an international platform.
